Company

Res Menus puts restaurant menus online across the United States. Diners read them free, and owners pay nothing to be on them.

A Small Team

We are a handful of food lovers, designers and developers. Every restaurant, from the family diner to the regional chain, should have a menu page that is clear and loads fast. That is the whole idea.

Diners want to see the menu before they go. Owners want their food online without another bill to pay or another program to learn. Res Menus sits in the middle: we post menu pages that are accurate and easy to read, and we keep them current with help from the people who know each location best.

Who Res Menus Serves

  • Diners

Full menus with prices, opening hours, a map and guest reviews, on one page that works on any phone.

  • Owners and managers

A free location page designed for you and, if you want one, a free website on your own Res Menus subdomain.

  • Everyone else

Anyone can suggest an edit. We check each one, so the menu is right for the next guest who looks.

How a Page Starts

A location page begins in one of three ways:

  • The owner sends it. Owners and managers send us the menu, photos and details. These pages are the most accurate, and they change whenever the owner asks.
  • We build it from public sources. When a restaurant has not written to us yet, we put its page together from what is already public: printed menus, the restaurant's own website and business directories.
  • Guests and staff correct it. The Suggest an Update link on every menu page lets anyone point out a new dish, a new price or new hours.

Prices on pages built from public sources are approximate and can be off from what the location charges today. That is why we ask diners to confirm with the restaurant (see Before You Order ), and why owners are welcome to check their own page.

What We Hold To

  • Owners decide. A verified owner can change the page, take it over or have it removed at any time.
  • Mistakes get fixed. We review reported errors and owner updates as fast as we can.
  • It stays free. Location pages, menu updates and website design cost the restaurant nothing, and that does not change down the road.
  • Pages stay readable. Menus are easy to read, quick to load and accessible on every device.
  • We keep data small. We collect only what the site needs to run. Privacy and Cookies has the details.

Write to Res Menus

  • Menu fixes

Give the location name, the page link and the fix you need. Emailing a recent picture of the menu gets it done sooner.

  • Pulling a page

Tell us which page and your role at the restaurant. We check that you own or run the location before the page comes down.

  • Diners

We cannot take orders, book tables or handle complaints about a meal. Call the restaurant on the phone number shown on its menu page.
