Five facts first
- Res Menus shows menus; it sells no food and takes no orders or bookings.
- Prices and hours can be out of date, so confirm them with the location.
- Brand names and logos belong to their owners, not to Res Menus.
- A review is the opinion of the guest who wrote it.
- If you use Res Menus, these conditions apply to you.
These conditions apply to res-menus.com and its subdomains (together, "Res Menus" or "the site"). Read them before you rely on a menu page. Staying on the site counts as agreeing to them; if you disagree, please stay off Res Menus.
What Res Menus is
Res Menus gathers restaurant menus, one location per page. Its pages show dishes, prices, hours, addresses and what guests say about each place, and it builds free menu pages and websites for restaurant owners. Nothing is sold here: no food, no orders, no table bookings. Everything on the site is shared in good faith and for general information.
Who runs each page
Res Menus is independent. Restaurants do not run the site, sponsor it or approve it, and it has no business tie to them, except on a page that clearly states the restaurant manages it. A restaurant appearing on Res Menus is no sign that it backs the site.
Brand names and trademarks
The names, logos, dish names and trademarks shown on menu pages, national chains included, belong to their owners. We print them only so you know which restaurant and which dish a page means, and that use does not suggest a restaurant sponsors or endorses Res Menus. The design, layout, text and software of the site itself belong to Res Menus or to the parties that license them to us.
Menu data and prices
Dishes, prices, hours and other details are there for general information. Some pages are put together from public sources and carry approximate prices, and a price may leave out tax, delivery fees and the differences between locations of one chain. Restaurants change menus and prices without warning, so confirm details with the restaurant before you order or visit. Before You Order explains more.
Allergies and health
Menu pages are not a full record of ingredients, allergens or nutrition. Res Menus is not responsible for allergic reactions or other health problems linked to food you order.
Location pages and owners
A location page may start from public information or from what an owner or manager sends in. After we confirm ownership, the owner can take over the page, update it or have it removed at any time. We may edit, refuse or take down any page at our discretion, for instance to fix an error or to remove content that breaks these conditions.
Reviews and what you send
Reviews and comments are the views of the guests who wrote them. They do not speak for Res Menus or for the restaurant, and we do not promise they are accurate. We look over each one before it goes up, but we cannot check every claim in it.
By sending a review, an edit, a photo or a message, you confirm that it is true as far as you know, that it describes your own experience and that you are free to share it. You give Res Menus a worldwide, non-exclusive license, free of royalties, to use, copy, edit and show it on the site and in connection with it. We can moderate, shorten or delete anything sent in, at any time.
Nothing you send may be false, defamatory, hateful, harassing, obscene or illegal. Leave out other people's personal details, and never write a review for payment or to hurt a competitor.
Fair use of the site
While using Res Menus, do not:
- break any law or regulation;
- pretend to be a restaurant, its staff or anyone else;

Links to other sites
Maps, restaurant websites and ordering services run by other companies appear on the site for convenience. We do not run them, cannot answer for their content, uptime or practices, and do not endorse them.
No promises on accuracy
Res Menus comes as it is and as it is available. Where the law permits, we offer no warranty of any sort, stated or implied, that the site or its content is accurate, complete or available.
Limits on liability
Where the law permits, Res Menus and its team are not liable for consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages. Nor are we liable for any loss caused by using the site, by relying on its menu information (a price that differs, a restaurant that shut down, a changed menu) or by dealing with any restaurant shown on it.
Your indemnity
You agree to defend Res Menus and cover it against claims, damages and costs that arise from what you send in, from how you use the site, or from a breach of these conditions by you.
Changes to the site
We may alter, suspend or shut down parts of the site, and we may revise these conditions at any time. The effective date at the bottom marks the current version, and visiting after a revision means you agree to the revised text.
Which law applies
United States law, together with the law of the state where Res Menus is operated, governs these conditions, and conflict-of-law rules do not apply.
